  • Teacher grants to support innovative educational projects and professional development.
  • Educators and artists in residence.
  • Community-based educational programs throughout the Hamburg Area School District.

Brick Project Update

February 26, 2007

Dear HAEF Supporters,

On behalf of the Hamburg Area Education Foundation, we would like to once again thank you for your donation to the Brick Project and update you on the status of the project.  There has been great progress in the number of donations, and we are on our way to an outstanding monument and walkway!

Originally, the monument was to be placed at the main entrance at the high school with a brick walkway joining the high school and the middle school. It is our understanding that there are changes that are being proposed regarding the school grounds.  Therefore, we want to be certain about the best location to position this great project. Currently, we are in the process of working with the designer of the monument and the Hamburg Area School District to choose the best possible location for the monument and the walkway.

We will inform you of the placement when the details are finalized.  We are all looking forward to seeing the final project in place!

Sincerely,

Debra Adam

HAEF President
