Family and Consumer Sciences courses are designed to help students manage money and resources, possess a healthy lifestyle (e.g. through nutrition), understand family dynamics, become knowledgeable about clothing design and choices, and be personally accountable for choices they make.  Careers in family and consumer sciences are also considered.
