10/06/08-In-Service---
10/07/08-Study for quiz on how to use the periodic table K84-K85. Complete reading on Gas Behavior and finish vocabulary box style. There are four terms to complete.
10/08/08-Check science openers--complete self-check and write what you learned in a complete sentence. Read worksheet in class notes and fill in the elements in class notes section.
10/09/08-Complete worksheet on periodic table. Study for short quiz on how to use the periodic table.
10/10/08-Quiz -today. No homework.
10/13/08-Read pages 88-94 and complete highlighted works--box style. Start working on unit outline in class notes. Write answer
in your own words and note page where found. Work on element project it is due 10/27/08. Unit test on Monday 10/20/08--all notes
are included on the test.
10/14/08-Finish outline in class notes tonight. Remember to note page number behind the word such as (K6).
10/15/08-Start study guide in class notes. The guide is due on 10/17/08 completed.
10/16/08-Continue working on study quide.
10/17/08-Check study guide for completeness. Study for unit test on Monday.
10/20/08---Unit test on Matter-Work on element project. Start organizing notebook.
10/21/08-Work on project and organize notebook.
10/27/08-ALL projects due today. Late projects will not receive full credit see checklist in test section.
Organize notebook using checklist and make sure the progress sheet has all grades recorded with signatures.
10/28/08--Notebooks will be collected for grading. Think about a science problem. Work on lab.
10/29/08-Write three science problems on a piece of paper. Work on lab.
10/30/08-Think about a science fair project.

outline in class notes. Self check energy lab.
11/12/08-Work on science fair research. Continue working on class notes outline.

11/14/08-Work on science fair.
11/17/08-Keep working on science fair. Study for quiz on Friday (forms of energy and worksheets). Complete lightning activity
write out the sequence activity on notebook paper instead of cutting apart the worksheet.

11/19/08-Make 5 study cards(3X5). Write the question and then the answer with the page number or worksheet. Bring all 5 cards
cut out to class. Self-check science openers.

Due 11/25/08 - Revise & submit Halloween poem if you want to improve your grade. Print out the new revision & return original graded papers.Due 11/25/08 - Complete 12 homophone cards for extra credit

Due 11/21/08 - Complete descriptive brainstorming graphic organizer about your person You need to include their appearance, general information about them (age, when you see them, how long you've known them, etc), character trait(s) and an example of them, something the reminds you of the person, what you enjoy doing together, why they are special to you.
Due 11/24/08 - 1 copy, TYPED draft of your first ABC book letter. This will be graded. Include brainstorming for the letter and any rough drafts and grade sheet. If you have a real photograph, please just outline where the photograph will go. Follow requirements on general information sheet for ABC book.
Due 12/3/08 - 2 more ABC letters each 1 page of 1 desrciptive paragraph about a person or pet. It must be typed. Follow the general information sheet requirements and include brainstorming and rough drafts
