MESSAGES FOR GUARDIANS
From the Team:
Parents,
Throughout the school year your young adult will bring home information concerning field trips. You will need to sign a permission slip for all trips (assuming you would like your young adult to attend). Your young adult will need to return the signed permission slip and money to his/her homeroom teacher by the announced due date.
Please feel free to contact us, (8-Red Team), during our "Team" conference time from 1:15-1:45p.m at 610.562.3990. In addition, a message may be left with the middle school office any time to request team contact or conference.
With your support, we look forward to a great year!
Mr. Wilhelm, Mrs Gretsky, Mrs. Carestia, and Mr. Geisinger
From Mrs. Carestia:
Parents are urged to purchase a calculator for their child's use. A scientific calculator will be useful in math and science classes in the middle school and throughout high school. ALL of the standardized tests the students take are meant to be taken with a calculator. Although the math teachers have enough for our individual classes, we do not have enough for the entire 8th grade when testing is done. The TI-30 is perhaps the best choice for parents to purchase. Students benefit from having a calculator at home as well as being familiar with their own calculator for testing and school use. Please consider this as an essential part of your student's school supplies.
