Personal/Family Living
Personal /Family Living is a course offered to sixth- and seventh-grade students. It is designed to teach life skills to be used in the present and future.
During a 9-week quarter, sixth-grade students are instructed in Child Care and Development, Kitchen Use and Safety, and Sewing techniques. Seventh-grade students receive instruction in Communication Skills, Nutrition, Budgeting and Financing, Kitchen Safety and Use, and Advanced Sewing Techniques.
PFL is a course in which students are actively participating and interacting. This allows students the opportunity to learn while developing communication and social skills.

Team sports and recreational games, gymnastics and movement, strength and conditioning, personal fitness plan
Students are expected to wear a gym outfit for physical fitness classes. Shirt and shorts must be purchased from the Physical Fitness Department. White socks and sneakers are brought from home.

Exploratory German including, culture, alphabet, everyday experiences, and geography. Special emphasis placed on German influence in our local community.
