Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Jen Clinton

Hello! My name is Jen Clinton and I am excited to be teaching K-8 ESL at Hamburg Area School District! I previously worked as an ESL teacher at an elementary school in Allentown and before that, I taught in the Reading SD as an ESL Biology/Science teacher in the high school and intermediate school. While I miss teaching the sciences, I love watching my students pick up on the English language and become part of our school culture. I advocate for all of my students by making sure they are receiving appropriate accommodations and progressing both academically and linguistically. Parents also play a vital role in every child's academic success, so I strongly encourage parents to get involved in their child's school life; either by keeping in contact with their teacher(s), joining the PTO, and/or volunteering to help in the classroom or chaperone for a field trip.

When I'm not teaching at school, you can usually find me working outside on my farm. I own and operate an educational farm aimed at teaching people how to grow their own food to increase sustainable living and decrease ecological footprints. We currently have approximately 50 residents that range from a few pounds to over a thousand pounds! The animals are part of our curriculum and help teach workshops throughout the year. If you're curious, you can check it out at:

In my rare free time, I like to read, hike, kayak, ride horses and line dance. I'm always up for new adventures and think everyone should try something new, at least once a year. What will you try?
