Even with November being a short month, our students showed up and showed out — 368 Attendance All-Stars and 132 students still holding PERFECT attendance! 🙌💪

We are truly grateful for our wonderful partnership with LaFaver Family Farm, who generously organized meal boxes for families right here in Hamburg! 🦃💙Their kindness and commitment to our community make a meaningful difference, and we are honored to have them as part of our Hamburg Area School District family.
During busy school moments like dismissal and parent–teacher conferences, some of our families were blessed with a special surprise. Each box was filled with Turkey filets from Koch's Turkey Farm, local potatoes from Geiger Family Farm, gravy, canned goods, bread, muffins, and cookies from Way-Har Farms, plus a gift card generously donated by D & S Portable Toilets. 🍞🥔🍪
When everyone comes together, we truly make a big difference for our families and neighbors. 💛

Parent–Teacher Conferences are coming up on Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25.
If you haven’t scheduled your conference yet, the PTCFast sign-up link is still open. Click https://ptcfast.com/schools/Tilden_Elementary_8 to get started, then follow these quick steps:
1️⃣ Select your child’s teacher(s).
2️⃣ Enter your child’s name, your name, and a valid email address.
3️⃣ Click Submit.
4️⃣ Check your email for the link to choose your conference time.
5️⃣ Pick the time slot that works best—and you’re all set!
You’ll receive a confirmation email with your scheduled date/time and instructions if you need to make any changes.
⏳ Reminder: Time slots fill fast, especially for families scheduling multiple conferences, so please register as soon as possible.
For individual meetings with our counselor or specialists, please contact them directly.

This morning, our school was filled with pride, gratitude, and red, white, and blue as we gathered for our Veterans Day Breakfast. It was truly heartwarming to see our veterans sharing smiles, stories, and a meal with their families ❤️🤍💙

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Our school district is seeking a dedicated Paraeducator to assist students in the Life Skills and Autistic Support Program.
In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with teachers and specialists to support students with diverse learning needs—helping them build independence, confidence, and essential life skills. Every day offers new opportunities to make a meaningful impact in a student’s educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students with individualized education programs (IEPs)
Assist with classroom instruction, daily routines, and adaptive skill development
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to promote student growth
What We’re Looking For:
Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with children with special needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience in education or special education settings preferred (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent required; paraeducator certification or college coursework in education a plus

We had 356 Attendance All-Stars again this month — matching last month’s amazing total! 🙌
Even more exciting — we have 184 students still in the running for the Tilden Attendance Hall of Fame! 🏅 That means 184 students have had perfect attendance since the very first day of school.
