📚🎉 Read Across America Week is Coming! 🎉📚
We are excited to celebrate Read Across America Week as we honor the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss and the joy of reading! Each day will feature a fun theme inspired by one of his beloved books. Here’s how our elementary students can join the fun:
🧦 Monday, 3/2 – Fox in Socks
Wear mismatched or wacky socks to kick off the week in silly Seuss style!
💚 Tuesday, 3/3 – Green Eggs and Ham
Wear your best green (or your Grinchiest green outfit!) and show your school spirit.
🤪 Wednesday, 3/4 – Wacky Wednesday
Dress in a mismatched, wacky outfit for a wonderfully silly day!
🌎 Thursday, 3/5 – Oh, The Places You'll Go!**
Dress like what you want to be when you grow up or wear something from a place you’ve traveled. Dream big!
🎩 Friday, 3/6 – The Cat in the Hat
Top it off with a crazy hat — or wear red and white to celebrate everyone’s favorite Cat!
We can’t wait to see our students show their creativity and school spirit while celebrating the power of reading. Let’s make it a week full of fun, imagination, and great books! 📖✨

Today we celebrate School Resource Officer Appreciation Day and the incredible impact Corporal Chase has on our school community at Tilden Elementary Center.
From greeting students with a smile, to building positive relationships and playing rock paper scissors at lunch, to helping everyone feel safe and supported each day, Corporal Chase goes above and beyond for our kids and staff. His presence makes a difference, and we are so grateful for the care, guidance, and protection he provides.
If you see him this week, be sure to say THANK YOU for all he does to serve our school! 💙
