Mrs. Jill Himmelberger
Hello first grade families! My name is Mrs. Himmelberger and I love learning! Keep reading to learn a little bit about me.
I graduated from Shippensburg University in 2001 with a certificate in elementary education and early childhood education. Then, I graduated from Kutztown University in 2006 as a certified reading specialist. I have been an elementary school teacher for 23 years, and I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I also worked as a reading specialist for several years.
I love to go hiking, eat ice cream, and go for bike rides with my husband. I also enjoy playing with my dogs Penny, Mya, and Zoey. I have a twin sister, Ms. Laub, who also teaches at Tilden Elementary Center.
I am excited about a great school year!
