Junior students and parents are encouraged to kickstart their exploration of post-secondary schools. Join our School Counselors for a comprehensive discussion on beginning your junior’s college search, SAT/ACT exams, college visits, senior internships, and essential elements for a compelling college application.

Hear directly from a panel of College Admissions Counselors, representing local State, State-Related, Private, and Community colleges. Gain insights and have your questions answered regarding College Admissions from the experts.


COLLEGE FAIR 📚

DATE: Tuesday, March 3

WHEN & WHERE:

8:30 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. at Alvernia University

This county-wide event welcomes over 100 colleges and technical schools into Alvernia's gymnasium.
Interested junior students will participate in this field trip during the school day.
Permission forms will be distributed to Juniors in the near future.

Project Yellow Light Scholarship Competition

Big Future Scholarships

Earn entries in monthly drawings for $500 and $40,000 scholarships by completing the six qualifying steps on Big Future. If you don’t win, your entry rolls over for the next month.
The Pennsylvania Society Semiquincentennial Scholarship Award

Hamburg Lowe's Presents: Community Safety Event 10/18/25 from 10AM - 2PM
Today, Hamburg Area School District partnered with Niagara Cares, the charitable division of Niagara Bottling, and Feed the Children, a non-profit anti-hunger organization, to help support our community. Volunteers distributed 200 family kits of shelf-stable food, cases of water, and other essentials to individuals in need. Thank you to Niagara Bottling for their continued partnership with our district and investment in our community, Feed the Children for spearheading today's Resource Rally, our local law enforcement and governmental entities in supporting today's event, and Mrs. Teresa Freiwald, HASD's Chief Learning Officer, for her work in coordinating with both organizations. Also, a special "thank you" to the many volunteers who helped make today's event possible.

Today, we welcomed Hamburg Area School District faculty and staff for our annual convocation and kicked off the 2025-2026 school year. The buildings were sparkling and the grounds were impeccably manicured for today's events thanks to the hard work of our facilities team. It was great to reconnect with colleagues as we work to ensure all preparations are made for our first student day this Thursday, August 21st.
