Welcome Parents and Students:

In fifth grade we cover a large amount of subject material, and in keeping up with the information, students need to review each lesson on a nightly basis.  Students should practice the vocabulary for each subject along with reviewing the concepts learned.  By doing this little by little, last minute “cramming” can be avoided.  Also, it is extremely important that students are doing their homework on each night that it is assigned.  This way we can check for any misunderstandings in the content. 

It is also important that students know all of the basic math facts, if not; they should be practicing them each night.  If you are having difficulties in any subject, see me as soon as the problem arises.
