School Counselors can help students meet their academic, personal and social goals through individual talk time. Students may express their feelings and learn problem-solving skills through puppets, art, literature, role-plays and various games.
Student discussions with the counselor are confidential, unless your child indicates there is a threat to self or others. Please note that school counselors are not licensed therapists. However, if you feel that your child may benefit from professional therapy, a school counselor can provide you with community resources.
