About me

    My name is Joan Honicker.  I graduated from Kutztown University with a BS in Elementary/Early Childhood Education.  I also earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Kutztown. 

    I have always taught in the Hamburg Area School District.  I have taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.  This is my 36th year teaching. 

    I am married with two wonderful boys.  Thomas is 22 years old.  He is a music teacher.  Christian is 19 years old.  He is a sophomore at Shippensburg University majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Math.

    I enjoy reading in my free time.
