Meet the Teacher

  • It's great to meet you...

I have lived within the boundaries of the Hamburg Area School District for my entire life, and as such, graduated from the district. I then attended Penn State Berks Campus for Elementary Education. Since graduation I have worked within the Hamburg District, beginning as a building substitute. I then taught Kindergarten for one year, Second Grade for Two Years, First Grade for 6 years. and Second Grade for two years. This will be my thirteenth year overall, and my fourth in Fourth Grade!

Outside of school, I have many different interests and hobbies. I enjoy spending time with my wife, sons (Liam and Everett), our french bulldog (Linus), and our extended family. I also like to spend as much time as possible in the outdoors: hiking, camping, hunting, canoeing, fishing, and utilizing digital photography. Ever since I was in kindergarten I have enjoyed everything about dinosaurs.
