    What is the PTO?

    The Parent Teacher Organization is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of children at the Tilden Elementary Center by fostering relationships among parents, teachers, and school.

    As a PTO, we fundraise to plan many exciting events/activities for the students. Not only are the events fun for all involved, but they make lifelong memories for the staff and families at Tilden Elementary!


    How do I join?

    Becoming part of the organization that makes a difference in your child’s educational experience is so simple! There is NO FEE and the commitment is however much you are able to balance. Nothing is required to be a member.  Simply log onto/join us in person for a meeting.  We look forward to seeing you!

    We are always open to new ideas for events and fundraising. In order to continue to support our students, we need volunteers to help! As an organization, we plan together so nobody is left alone and rely heavily on the help of parents. This could be anything from planning to helping the day of events, whatever you choose!


    How do I attend a meeting?

    Meetings are every third Wednesday of the month via zoom. A schoolwide email is sent out by Dr. Cucciuffo with the zoom link as well as the previous month’s meeting minutes. You can also find the zoom link on our Facebook page. We hope to return to in-person meetings in the future.


    How do I become a board-approved volunteer?

    Some PTO events require volunteers to be approved by the Hamburg School Board.  In order to be a board-approved volunteer, please visit the school district webpage for instructions on the simple and easy process.
