Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Crimmins

This is my fourth year teaching at Perry Elementary School and I could not be more excited about being one of the second grade teachers.  Before Perry, I worked in special education at a local private school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  It is here I discovered my love for education.

I graduated in April of 2020 from Western Governor's University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  I am certified to teach grades Pre-K through 4th.  I love teaching and helping students push themselves harder than they ever have before.

I am married to my wonderful wife Jayme, who is a third grade teacher at another local school.  We have two crazy little boys.  John, 7, loves playing sports and likes to pretend he is already a star athlete.  Joey, 6, is our little cuddle bug and tries to avoid getting knocked over all the time by his big brother.  We live in Shoemakersville and love the community and family feel of this district.

Some of my favorite children's authors are Shel Silverstein, Dr. Suess, Aaron Blabey, Eric Carle, and Mo Willems.  Currently, my boys are infatuated with Pig the Pug, Thelma the Unicorn, and the Elephant & Piggie books.

I love to read, garden, play with my boys, drink coffee, and be outside as often as possible.  We love traveling when we are not working.  In the summer months we love to visit New England and any other locations we can get to by car.  Mr. Crimmins does NOT like airplanes!  :-)
