Homework and Grading Policy

Dear Parents,

We know that you will be concerned should your child be absent due to an illness that prevents them from attending school. The school policy on page 7 of the agenda currently states that a student must be absent for three days before work can be requested to be sent home.

Our concern is that your child rest and recover so he/she can return to school quickly. If your child feels well enough, he/she can check the team web site or contact a friend if he/she wants to try to make up work missed for the day(s).

The current homework policy on page 10 states that student assignments and tests are to be completed upon returning to school within a time period equal to the length of the absence. Please be assured that we will provide him/her with ample time to complete any missed assignments.
