    Purpose statement:

    To promote and cultivate greater interest, support, and cooperation between parents, guardians, faculty, staff, students, and the community in the development, operation, and presentation of the Hamburg Area School District's Music Programs.

     

    What does HAMA do?

     Offers scholarships for seniors majoring in music or other performing arts.

     Provides annual grants to music teachers and the school musical.

     Hosts an annual music student recognition banquet.

     Chaperones various functions including: Marching Band parades, games, adjudications/field trips, and overnight trips.

    Operates a concession stand at home football games.

    Maintains Student Grant Request program, that music students who participate in designated HAMA fundraisers may submit a request for a grant of funds that they have helped to earn, in order to be reimbursed for, or pay for HASD music trips, lessons, instrument repairs, etc.

    Membership

    Any parent, guardian, or relative of a Hamburg Area School District student, plus all staff and faculty of the school district shall be eligible for membership. There are no membership dues.
