Welcome to Hamburg Area School District, where we are dedicated to supporting the holistic well-being and success of every student. As the Director of Student Services, I am proud to lead a team committed to providing comprehensive support to address the diverse needs of our student body.

Our Student Services department encompasses a range of essential resources, including school counselors, nurses, Title IX information, and ECYEH (Youth Experiencing Homelessness) professionals . Each member of our team plays a vital role in fostering a safe, healthy, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Our school counselors are here to provide guidance, support, and resources to help students navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. Whether students need assistance with course selection, college planning, or personal issues, our counselors are dedicated to helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

The health and well-being of our students are paramount, which is why we have a team of dedicated school nurses who are available to address both routine health needs and emergencies. From administering medications to providing first aid and promoting wellness initiatives, our nurses play a crucial role in ensuring that students are safe, healthy, and ready to learn.

Additionally, under Title IX, Hamburg Area School District is committed to upholding federal laws and district policies related to gender equity and nondiscrimination. They work diligently to investigate and address any reports of sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination, ensuring that all students have equal access to educational opportunities in a safe and supportive environment.

As the Homeless Liaison, I work closely with students and families experiencing homelessness to ensure they have access to the resources and support needed to succeed in school. Under McKinney-Vento, we provide assistance with enrollment, transportation, school supplies, and other essential services to remove barriers to education for students and families experiencing homelessness. 

As Director of Student Services, my goal is to collaborate with our dedicated team members, parents, educators, and community partners to ensure that every student receives the support and resources they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
