I am glad that you came to visit.  

For the 2019-2020 school year I am team teaching Environmental Science in addition to my SOAR classes.   

I started teaching at HAHS for the 1999-2000 school year, just in time for the renovation project at the high school.  For most of my career I have taught the 9th grade science classes, first it was Physical Science,Physics First and more recently Integrated Science.  I enjoy teaching high school students.  

Professional Biography:  I graduated from Tulpehocken Area High School.  I attended both RACC and Kutztown University.  I graduated with my BS Secondary Education: Math and Physics from Kutztown University.

My first teaching job was as a long term substitute at Tulpehocken Area High School for two years.  In 1999 I started at Hamburg Area High School teaching Physical Science.

My schedule for this year:

Period 1 - Physical education with SOAR

Period 2- SOAR Credit Recovery

Periods 3- SOAR Science

Period 4- SOAR Math

Period 5 - SOAR Practical Skills

Period 6- Environmental Science

Period 7- prep

Period 8-SOAR time  

After school- I am available after school, but please check ahead.
