Hello! My name is Mr. Haegele, and I am excited to be going into my 8th year of teaching, and my fourth year here at Hamburg Area School District. I graduated from West Chester University, and immediately began teaching. I started my career in North Philadelphia with the Camelot Behavioral and Academic Program at John B. Stetson Charter School. From there, I went to a public/charter school in West Philadelphia where I taught Social Studies and English, as well as, coached for the Middle School Wrestling Team. I would go on to be the founder and Head Coach for the Belmont Charter High School Track and Field Team. Within those few years, we would have many state level athletes go on to shine both inside and outside the classroom. I will be teaching 9th and 10th Grade English at the high school, and have even gotten involved in coaching wrestling and track. I look forward to working with your student as they become the most successful person they can be, and will be sure to spread positive words of encouragement when I pick my 3 weekly "Hawks of the Week".
