Mrs. Benvenuto

Hello! I am Mrs. Benvenuto! However, you may have known me as Miss Stauffer. I married my husband in June 2023 and changed my last name. I graduated from Tamaqua High School in 2010 and attended Lehigh Carbon Community College from 2010-2012. Then, I transferred to Bloomsburg University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Education, with a certification to teach Social Studies during the Fall of 2014. Spring 2021, I received my Masters of Education at Kutztown University in Secondary Education (specialization Social Studies). I started another Masters program in Mass Customized Learning at Wilson College Spring 2024 and will finish Spring 2026. 

I completed my student teaching here in Hamburg along with a few long-term substitute placements through the years. I am going into my 10th school year (including student teaching), but my 7th year as a contracted teacher. You may see me volunteering in cross-country or Winter/Spring Track. I enjoy helping with timing during the meets! I am also the Freshman Class Adviser and Social Studies Club adviser. I am excited for another school year! Don't be afraid to stop by and say hello!
