I graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 2000 and immediately entered the U.S. Air Force  Reserve as an electronics technician.  After completing my initial training, I began my Bachelor's degree in Professional and Technical Writing from Penn State, Berks Campus.  After two tours of duty overseas with the Air Force, I graduated with my BA in 2007.  I began my graduate studies at Lehigh University in June of 2009 and graduated with a Master's degree in Education in December of 2011.  I earned my certification in Technology Education in March of 2014 and started my training in Project Lead the Way in July of 2014.

    Experience

I completed my pre-student teaching at Easton Area High School in June of 2011, where I taught 12th grade English.  I did my student teaching at Springhouse Middle School, Parkland School District, in the fall of 2011.  There I taught 8th grade Language Arts.

Since that time, I've taught both long term and short term as a substitute at both Hamburg Area High School and Middle School.  I've taught every grade from 6th through 12th for an extended period of time. I've been teaching Project Lead the Way and Engineering at Hamburg Area High School since 2014.
