  • Everyday Preventative Actions for Cold and Flu Season

    • Try to avoid close contact with sick people
    • If your child is ill, keep them home until the fever is gone for 24 hours without the use of medicine
    • While sick, limit your contact with other people
    • Cover your nose or mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as germs spread this way
    • Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs
