Course Description

  • This elective course will focus on environmental issues related to human impacts to our natural world.  The topics which will be explored include watersheds, population dynamics, wildlife management, human population growth, biodivesity, invasive species, and land use.  There will be a special focus on Pennsylvania ecology where students will explore issues related to the our area and will be working with a liaison from Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
