This will be my 9th year of teaching.
I grew up in Berks County and moved to North Carolina after High School to attend college and play golf. After spending time in the Carolina's, I moved back to the area and attended Alvernia University. I received a dual major degree in Accounting and Business Management. After college, I worked for a private tax and accounting firm. During this time I also served on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Chapter of The National Association of Tax Professionals and I served as an auditor for Jefferson Township. I then worked for the county government as an accountant at the youth detention center and the INS center. During this time I attended school to receive my certification in business education from Alvernia University where I also completed my master's degree in education. While I was with my previous school district I coached the volleyball and golf team. I also helped the students start the Outdoors club and worked with the Renaissance club. I am currently the advisor for the Hamburg High School Wilderness Club.
When I am not teaching or working on lesson plans I am an outdoor enthusiast. I have a passion for fishing, boating, and kayaking and get out whenever I get the chance. I also spend a lot of time hiking with my dog, Soturi. My friends and family are a very important part of my life and I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.
I look forward to working with all of you this year and I am here to help you with anything I can!
