    Course Syllabus:

    Diversified Occupations is designed to help students learn about the working world through classroom topics/discussion as well as having the students learn hands on experience while they are at their job in the actual working world.

    Topics to be covered:

    1. Matching interests and aptitudes to jobs
    2. Career decision making
    3. Searching for a job
    4. Applying/Interviewing for a job
    5. Employer expectations
    6. Worker rights and protection
    7. Workplace communication
    8. Leadership within the workplace
    9. Workplace health and safety
    10. Taxation
