      College Rep Visits to HAHS-- now virtual!

    COVID did it again. HAHS is currently not permitted to invite visitors into the building. As a result, traditional College Visits will be held with the College Representative online, using ZOOM or other virtual meeting platform.

    • Please request a pass from Mrs. Fink (School Counseling Office) to be excused from your scheduled class.
    • Report to the couches in the Library to attend the virtual college visit and log in a few minutes early using the meeting link. Don’t forget to bring ear phones.

    I am Deanna Snyder the Student Assistance Program (SAP) Specialist who will be filling in for Jenn Guigley during this pandemic. SAP is in place to help remove the obstacles in the path to a student’s success. During this time of uncertainty, I am available to facilitate small educational support groups virtually. Some of your children were participating in these groups, for example, stress management before school ended. I am also able to help parents find extra supports for their children during times of heightened anxiety like some of your children may be experiencing currently. Please email me at dsnyder@caron.org for more information or to inquire about enrolling your child in an educational support group.

     

    The counseling office is here to assist students and families.

    • Students requesting an appointment: We ask for students to request an appointment using the forms found in Advisory or in the counseling office. We will do our best to see students in a timely manner, but it may take a few days.
    • Parents requesting an appointment: Visitors are not permitted in the building at this time. If a parent/guardian would like to speak with a counselor they may call or email. Again, we will do our best to reply in a timely manner, but it may take a few day to get back to you.

    Login to the Community Web Portal and make your course selections. After Friday, March 19th, please complete a paper schedule request using the Course Request Form for you next grade.
