Fitness Plan

  • **Follow all instructions on this worksheet to create a fitness plan using the FITT Guidelines that are listed in Ch. 6.  Also, answer all 5 questions and submit them along with your fitness plan.  Be sure to include an appropriate warm-up & cool-down for each activity (light activity/stretching).  Include 3 aerobic and 2 anaerobic activities throughout the week (5 days minimum).  Include how much time for each warm-up/activity/cool-down.  The activity itself needs to be at least 40 minutes.  The intensity will be what % of your THR Zone you will be exercising at.  This is worth 25 points.  See me immediately with questions.

    PROCEDURE

      1. Draw a table that has seven columns. Title the table “Activity Plan for the Week.” Label the columns with the days of the week.

      2. Write your fitness goal below the table. For example, you might write, “I want to run a 5 kilometer race in under 30 minutes.”

      3. Create a week of activities that are based on developing the five components of physical fitness. Remember to include at least 60 minutes of activity daily.
